Plain language about what this website is and is not.
Prices are ranges, not quotations
The figures on this site are collected ranges with their collection period stated, and they are published so you can sanity-check the bids you have. Your building will have conditions nobody can see from the street: how many roof systems are already on the deck, whether the insulation is wet, what the deck is made of and what condition it is in, whether the drainage works. Every one of those moves the number. Nobody, including us, can quote a commercial roof without walking it.
Codes and permits change
The permit process, fees, worksheet numbers, processing times and code requirements described here were accurate to the best of our knowledge when written and are sourced and linked so you can verify them. They change. Jurisdictional boundaries also do not always follow postal addresses, and a Houston mailing address does not mean the City of Houston permits your building. Confirm with the authority that actually has jurisdiction over your site.
Windstorm and insurance
The Highway 146 windstorm boundary, WPI-8 requirements and TWIA eligibility described here are summarised from published Texas Department of Insurance material. We are roofing contractors, not insurance advisers or public adjusters. We do not negotiate claims, we do not represent policyholders, and we do not advise on coverage. What we do is document roof condition and damage properly so that you and your adviser have real evidence to work with. Coverage questions belong with your broker or a licensed public adjuster.
Not engineering or legal advice
Structural questions, including deck capacity, dead load from additional roof systems and building movement, belong with a licensed engineer and we will tell you when we think you need one. Lease, contract and claim disputes belong with an attorney.
Photographs
Photographs on this site illustrate the kind of work and the conditions described. They are not represented as a specific named project unless the text says so.
No state roofing licence
Texas does not license roofing contractors at state level and the City of Houston does not require local roofing registration, so no licence number is displayed anywhere on this site. This is a statement of fact about Texas licensing rather than a statement about any contractor's competence. Verify insurance and manufacturer certifications instead, and see the permit and code guide for how.
